NEW: 11pc MAKEUP BRUSHES REVIEW

I bought these makeup brushes a few months ago from eBay after seeing them on Instagram and reading tons of reviews, I paid $12.98 for these brushes and not a penny more. I was excited about the price but very nervous about the quality.  The shipping was very fast considering they shipped out of china  got them in about a weeks time.  I have used these brushes over five times and washed them plenty so I could give a honest review.  These brushes are very soft and great to work with I really don't know what else to say other then honey go ahead and buy these and see for yourself.  Again you can find these on eBay search seller mrprince5555 he has other brushes as well.

Whats on My Face!

I created this look over the weekend using my new Shany Cosmetics loose powders, eye lashes and gel liners.  I love this look because its very wearable in your everyday look in my opinion this can be worn to work be simply doing a nude lip. You can also turn it into a evening/night time look by adding a dark lip.

 ON THE EYES:

I started by filling my brows in with a dark brown eyebrow pencil by MAC called spiked.  I then cleaned them up with my bh cosmetics concealer palette in medium. I used Urban decay primer potion all over my eye from the brow bone to the lid. I then placed the NYX shadow base in white on the lid area only. I used Macs shadow in the color Arena directly under my brow bone a a highligt. I then used Virgin,Naked and Buck from the Urban decay Naked palette as my transition colors.  I then placed #16 from the Shany cosmetics 40pc loose powder set on my lid.  I went over that with a yellow glitter and sealed it with ELF shadow sealer to set the glitter so it would not fall off. I then Lined my upper and lower lash with the shany gel liner in black. I used Shany cosmetics glitter lashes

ON THE FACE:

I used the L'Oreal true match foundation...set it with a cover girl pressed powder. For my highlight I used the bh cosmetics concealer palette in medium and set it with the Ben Nye setting powder in banana. I contoured with my bare minerals setting powder and on my cheeks I used a no name blush palette I got from amazon.

on my lips I have on MAC haute-core
&
I used Faux by MAC with a pink lip liner and pink gloss on top

I am so excited about these shadows honey...As you guys may know I am starting to get into the makeup industry by becoming a freelance makeup artist. So of course you can not be a makeup artist without a kit and great shadows. I think these shadows are great for beginners like my self who want to build a nice kit without spending thousands.  These shadows allow you to get great colors and quality work without breaking the bank.  I will say I did notice a few of the colors are repeats and I would have loved to get more deep colors vs repeats.  I also noticed that the colors pictured on the site are not what you actually get. For instance I thought I was getting a deep red color based off the picture on the website.  What I got was a pinky/purple color instead.  All in All I give Shany cosmetics four hearts out of 5 my money was well spent.

Excuse my hairy A** arm LMAO...I swatched a few of the colors to show you guys how pigmented these shadows are. These are the colors on plain skin no primer of base underneath them.  As you can see these shadows are very shimmery.

Shany Cosmetics Gel Eyeliners Swatches

I recently reviewed these gel liners on my YouTube channel where I talked about my experience using these liners.  These liners are very creamy and pigmented and you get a lot of product for your money.  All though I got these on sale at a good price Shany Cosmetics is very inexpensive so don't worry you can still get them a low cost.  I have only used the black liner as its intended purpose so far. I have been using them as eye shadow bases. The rich and creamy consistency of these liners make for a awesome base to help your shadows pop.

What looks like a red liner (pictured lower left corner) is actually a dark deep brown....and the gray liner (pictured lower right corner) is a very dark charcoal color

I swatched a few of the colors below so that you could see how pigmented and rich the colors are

These liners can be purchased from shanycosmetics.com

SisterHood Ratchetness????

left to right: Dominique,Delana,Ivy,Tara and Christaina

SisterHood is a reality show that airs on the network channel TLC.....  This show follows the life of five women, to offer a up close and personal glimpse, into the life of the leading lady of a church, known as the "First Lady". I have watched every episode since it aired and I must admit I do like this show a lot.  However this show is not being welcomed by the church folk lol.  I can only guess its because it shows the reality of what goes on in churches across the US.  It shows that Christians even the holier than thou type of Christians are HUMAN!!!  I don't know why people are acting all bent out of shape.  I mean what did you think a reality show surrounding women in this day in age would be about???  Its on its 5th episode and I don't know how many more are left however I am going to sum up the show so far than going forward do weekly reviews of the show.

This show wants so badly to be like the very popular House Wives Of Atlanta.....The show is based out of Atlanta and these ladies seem to be apart of a very wealthy community in Atlanta. Dominique is like the NeNe of the show she is the most fashionable and outspoken of all the ladies.  She will be liked by a lot of women because she is very open and speaks her mind.  She come off like a home girl nothing about her says preachers wife at all... people will like her for her down to earth attitude.

Tara is the one most may not like because she comes off very holier than thou an a know it all.....her and her husband are gossiped about because they got fired by their old church....After just three weeks.  They do come of a little weird at times but I actually like them/   Ivy is really boring the only thing about her that keeps her a little interesting is that her husband seems like he has a mistress somewhere....He comes off like a crazed sex addict I swear anytime he is on camera he is talking about sex somewhere in the episode.  She gossips way to much.  However I love that she is very well spoken and always handles herself as a lady.  But for real that husband of hers is a perv.

DeLana is hardly ever on any episodes and she can be easily cut from the cast.  I honestly think she is on the show because she is white she is like the Kim of the show. However I did recognize her from a Christian music video I was watching the other day.  Last we have Christina I would not be surprised if she came up with this idea to be on a reality show she seems messy and two faced I don't too much care for her our her husband something about them seems too messy.

To sum the show up so far....I can see why a lot of Christians would be just a little up set.  I have watched 5 episodes so far and I don't think I have watched one yet that really would help someone.  All of the episodes show the ladies gossiping to and behind each others backs about nonsense.  To be honest the only one that really seems to be having real stuff going on is Dominique.  She is a ex drug addict and prostitute who seems to be going through some type of mid life crisis.  I like it because it has just enough of tea being spilled to keep me entertained when I have nothing else to do on my off days.  They are not harming each other and to me they are not making black women or black churches look bad.  Stay tuned for more reviews on this show.....

Miss Jessie's Review

A few weeks ago, I was excited to find out Miss Jessie's was giving out free samples of her products. One because since I have been natural her product line is the main one I hear about. Basically she is real popular in the natural hair community so yahgirl wanted to see what the hype was about. You can order 3 at a time from her website directly www.missjessies.com. The shipping is really fast I ordered on a Saturday and received my samples the following Tuesday. I ordered the Super Slip Sudsy Shampoo PacketCrème de la Crème Conditioner Packet and Curly Pudding Packet. I tried both the shampoo and conditioner and well here is my honest opinion.

Super Slip Sudsy Shampoo Packet

This shampoo was actually great I really loved it and would consider actually buying the full size bottle. It does exactly what I need from my shampoo and that is for it to help me detangle my hair. I love the squeaky clean feeling I get after washing my hair and this shampoo does just that. How ever its not moisturizing at all, that is one of the problems I have with this shampoo. I currently use Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming Moisturizing Shampoo. I love that shampoo and all though it may not suds up like Miss Jessie's, it still allows me to detangle my hair and it moisturizes at the same time. Also its only $5.89 for 12oz compared to Miss Jessie's $14.00 8oz. My all around thoughts about Miss Jessie's shampoo, its a great product but its not the best on the market plus it too pricey for me.

Crème de la Crème Conditioner Packet

Now this product I hated its real unfortunate because I really wanted to like it. I have nothing good to say about it at all besides thank goodness it was free. It did nothing for my hair at all its not thick enough and does not feel like it coats my hair shaft. I currently use LeKair Cholesterol Plus Strengthening Conditioning Cream as my deep conditioner and my hair loves this stuff. Its only $1.36 20oz compared to Creme De La Creme 12oz for $16 bucks. I'm not saying its a bad product but it does nothing for my hair at all.

My final Thought I really liked the shampoo just cant see my self spending that kind of money when it not even all that lol......I have yet to try the curl pudding and im not sure If I will ever. I just love my Shea Moisture.

Thanks for Reading

Shea Moisture Curl Souffle Review

I recently decided to jump on the bandwagon and try the Shea Moisture products. I was very reluctant because everyone seem to love it and usually for me that means my hair would hate it. I was very desperate and in need of something new. I had been using grease and water for one year straight and loved it. However it was clogging my pores and causing my face to break out. Not only that I noticed that my hair didn't look like it was moisturized. It almost seemed as though my hair had built up a resistant to the grease lol I know that sounds crazy. i just felt like it was time for a change my twist outs weren't coming out right and my hair looked shinny but felt dry and brittle.

Girl when I tell you my hair loved the Shea Moisture Curling Souffle, I feel like I found the Holy Grail of natural hair products. I have 4C hair and my hair needs a product that is thick and will give me hold and moisturize at the same time.  My twist out were very defined and moisturized and my hair felt like butter. I feel like kicking myself because I have been missing out on this.  Trust me this will now be a staple product in my hair care regimen I am officially #teamsheamoisture

About the Product:
Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle Gel
This all natural styling souffle with agave nectar and flax seed oil defines and promotes curls, with a soft, smooth after feel. • a little goes a long way
  • smells great
  • great hold
  • defines twist and curls
  • seals in the moisture
  • its just the bomb.com
  • Price ($9.99 per item) but a little goes a long way so you won't run out fast
  • for all hair types and curl patterns

 Cons:

  • sticky
  • leaves hands with a syrup feeling
  • if you use too much hair will feel like gummy
  • takes a long time to dry
  • can not reapply will cause product build up

Iggy Azalea "Pu$$y" and "My World"

Iggy Azalea born  Amethyst Kelly, is an Australian  song writer and rapper. Her flow is a contradiction of here appearance. She looks like just another white pop girl until you hear her rap. She raps very raw and hard core her flow (IMO) is very nice. Some idiot said this yamp was the next Tupac lets all pray for that fool. Anyway its hard for me to get past the fact she seems like just another gimmick. I mean really LiL Kim, Foxy have been doing the sexy look with hardcore rap flows XXL

So what makes her different she is white and from Australia point blank oh and she is yet another infamous white girl with a fat ass. These little American suburban white girls are gonna eat her up. T.I has hoped on her band wagon she is officially apart of the grand hustle team, shit can you blame him? She will sale in America and internationally but I bet my bottom dollar she will not win over hip hop as a Lady MC. One thing I know about hip hop lovers is we smell bullshit and we don't like gimmicks. You see how the hip hop community pretty much disowned my girl Nicki Minaj. I guess we will just have to see though but I know I'm right. Shit am I right? She is the first female MC to ever make the cut for XXL freshman class. I cant front I Like her two songs Pussy and My World.

Finally Famus

I have finally decided to get this review out the way.....Big Sean seems to have popped out of nowhere.....He was discovered if you will, by Kanye.....but the first time I heard him was his song called "My Last"....didn't know who he was or what he looked like either....it wasn't until I saw him in Kelly Rowland video for "Lay it on me" that I even cared to put a name with the face.....Although I like his singles I didn't care to get the album.....It wasn't until I heard him on Wale joint "Slight Work" that I really Noticed him....His verse on the song made me want to buy his album....So I got the album and its wiggity, wiggity, wiggity whack (in my Chris Cross voice).....imma be honest I can't even get through the whole album......other than the singles I have no clue what this man is talking about......He has this catch phrase he does through out the whole album....where he says "bong and do it" a million times.......

Here is my problem with Big Sean first off the album is disappointing....I'm like ain't this Kanye dude? If you listen to the singles the people he have Featured on the song make the song without them the songs would be trash....."My Last" does not sound like Big Sean ft Chris Brown....It sounds Like Chris Brown featuring his Big Sean....."Marvin and Chardonnay" sounds like its Roscoe Dash featuring everyone else....and "Ass" is only dope because of the remix with Nicki Minaj.....He has a song with with Rick Ross and Pusha T called "100 keys" Big Sean sounds so damn lost on this song im not sure if he knows what he is talking about....I'm sorry dude does not have his own style or sound...damn near every song is featuring another rapper......he has some dope people on his album but it still didn't camouflage his whackness....and that bong sound he does is fucking annoying....the whole album is confusing and your left thinking what the hell was that...that is if you can get through the whole album without throwing it out the window.......I give this album ♥ two hearts out of  five only cause I cant make a half heart.....dont waste your money on this one yall

Ambition

"Beautiful music, painting pictures that be my vision
They gon love me for my ambition
Easy to dream a dream, though it’s harder to live it
Look, they gon love me for my ambition
Beautiful music, painting pictures that be my vision
They gon love me for my ambition"

Wale Folarin (Olubowale Victor Akintimehin) is signed with Maybach Music Group aka Rick Ross and em.....dropped Ambition his 2nd studio album released 11/1/11 (he has a fresh ass mix tape titled 11/1/11 theory check it out).....imma be honest the only song I remember of his was "Pretty Girls".....but apparently he started out as a local rapper in his home town of D.C and had a popular song called "Dig Dug"....His debut album with Interscope in 2009 titled "Attention Deficit" didn't sale good but got good reviews..... I'm not going to pretend like I have been #teamwale since he been out....One day I was riding with my girl Lexi and she was bumping the hell out of Wale....I was like who is this she looked at me like I was tardy (because i was) and was like Girl this Wale.....all I remember thinking was "damn he got a flow like Pac".....he makes you think like Pac did....now I'm speaking for myself and I'm not saying he the new Pac not comparing them either two completely different artist.....he is what I call a conscience rapper.....and for that I am now #teamwale #teamBOA #teamambition

Now lets get to the album....ok so every single song on this album is dope I swear.....He has 15 tracks and you can tell he was in the studio grinding....what I like about this album is each song tells a story but its not just random stories....each song is like a chapter pulls the whole album together....all though I love every single song and its hard to pick a favorite "D.C or Nothing" track 14 is probably my Fave ugh it's so hard to choose lol....He has a song with Lloyd called "Sabotage" that is hot as well....."illest Bi***" and of course "Ambition" although I cant stand Meek Mills voice Rick Ross and Wale make up for it.....I say buy the album if you wanna hear someone talking about real ish I give this album 5 out of 5 hearts ..

Sol-Angel And The Hadley St. Dreams CD review

"I know you think you love me
But love ain't never stopped nobody
From creeping around every once in a while
When things start to settle down
And so I won't look like a clown
I' m a call it now....I told you so"
ok so I'm at Walmart to pick up a few things....one of em being Jill Scott newest album....while i was looking for her joint i stumbled upon Solange cd.....it was five bucks so I'm like what the heck....girl this CD has been on heavy rotation since i put the joint in....it came out back in 2008 and honestly i feel like a missed out on three years worth of damn good music.....her vocals on this album are amazing she isn't tryna sound like anybody else....point blank home girl is underrated....

the first song on the album "God given name" she is saying don't put her in a box she isn't her sister....this song is a perfect start to the album....its perfect for the first track.....ok honey every joint on the album is my fav i don't skip not one....click this link so you can hear all the songs and get the lyrics......http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7716559

i love music and enjoy giving my reviews....i say give her a chance its at walmart for only $5...i promise when you put the album in you will love it....yes you gotta listen to her...isn't that the point of music...you gotta listen to hear the point the person is tryna make...once you hear it you'll understand why i said she is underrated....

Kelly Rowland HERE I AM! review

Former Destiny's Child member (just in case yall for got) Kelly Rolland  3rd studio album Here i am just came out 07/26/2011....ok so i just got done listening to kelly girls album.....hmmm now yall know she is my girl but imma be honest...the cd is not good...all the songs sound like a little girl talking about being grown...only two songs on the whole album motivation and work it man are the ish for real...the rest of the album fails to live up to the hype..

first off the album art work tricks you she is working it....im like look at kelly girl she on her grown woman sex symbol ish...im thinking im about to put the cd in and here some truth coming thru those speakers....O_o wrong i was confused the album seems to have no direction...Keep it between us #8 beat is so good your ready to here here give you some soul...but your left dissapointed again..

you only get ten songs unless you got the delux edtion walmart didnt have it....now im not tryna be hard on her im sure the album will grow on me....but this is my honest first impression of the album...Lay It On Me track #4 would of been so hot....if the dude she has rapping on the joint wasnt a lil kid (well atleast he sounds like one)....i would of loved for the song to had drake on it (maybe she couldnt afford drezzy)....she should of also did a track with trey songs and rick ross...oh and i would of loved a missy joint on it.....i could go on and on but im not....i hope you guys get her album and tell me what yall think....ill update yall once i listen to it a few more times...
